The Great Clarification: What I’m Saying YES to After Leaving META, Part 2

Aligning Leadership with Energy, Time, and Values

Leaving META isn’t just about stepping away – it’s about stepping toward something clearer, more aligned, and more regenerative. This moment of deconstruction offers an opportunity for clarification. And here’s what I’m choosing to focus on:

1. Prioritizing In-Person Connection

The pandemic reminded us that in-person connection is irreplaceable. Yet, it’s so easy to default to Zoom and the pseudo-value of social media engagement.

My Commitment: I’m trusting in the immeasurable currency of in-person connection. I’ll be spending 1-2 days per week out and about in the Bay Area, meeting with people face-to-face. Let’s connect!

2. Integrating the Past as We Build the Future

As so much accelerates in our world – climate shifts, information as currency, the deconstruction of democracy – I find myself deeply rooted in history. Our past is the compost for the future we are creating.

My Commitment: I’m merging my background in business leadership and systems-building with my work in conscious leadership, psychedelics, and earth wisdom. Ask me about custom leadership offsites that integrate all three.

Your Inquiry: What experiences from your past are asking to be integrated as we move into the unknown future?

3. Staying Local & Deepening Stewardship

I’m setting deep roots in Casa Almacita – my homestead, retreat sanctuary, and place of deep relationship with the land. I’m also shifting my consumption toward hyper-local producers and exchanges that don’t rely on financial currency.

My Commitment: I will only consume seasonal produce from my land or hyper-local sources. People have called this a “sacrifice,” but I see it as a privilege and a portal into deeper alignment.

Your Inquiry: If you chose to perceive zero barriers to making a shift in your life, what would you change? What unexpected benefits emerge when you imagine it fully?

When One Door Closes, Another Opens

May this moment serve as a reminder: we are the architects of the systems, organizations, and structures that shape our reality – not the other way around. Everything that defines our world exists because each of us – each of YOU – generate value through our collective awareness, presence, and participation.

While constructs like de facto capitalism and social media may seem immovable, they are, in truth, nothing more than deeply ingrained cultural narratives – ones that have distanced you from your own limitless creative potential.

So I leave you with this: What are you willing to say no to in order to say a more powerful YES?

Let’s build something new.
